Tomorrow I hand over as Director General of WSPA to my successor Mike Baker.

I would like to thank each of you for the support that you have given me to help create the World's largest ever Animal Welfare Global Alliance. Working together we have overcome many obstacles and we have significantly moved forward, on so many fronts, our animal welfare aims. May I wish you every success in the future.

To those of you whom I have come to know personally I hope that our paths will cross again in the future; for those I have never met, I thank you for trusting me by participating in our campaigns and political objectives.
